Carley Awarded a Website Development Project

Under our OPM
TMA contract, Carley was awarded a task order for the design
and development of a workforce development
website for the FAA’s office of the Associate Administrator
for Research and Acquisitions (ARA). The ARA provides leadership,
direction, and guidance relating to FAA acquisition policy,
research, system prototyping, and agency information resource
management. The target population for this workforce development
website includes all research and acquisition personnel,
including executives. In addition, the target population
includes both novice and experienced users. Approximately
1000 - 2000 users access the website during peak times.
The main objective of this project is to design, develop,
test, and deploy a website with the following features:
- Engaging content where appropriate to increase user retention
- Clear, detailed career path information for management, leadership,
and personnel development
- Direct links to on-line courses
- On-line input forms for users to submit additions to content
- Webmaster control for updating and adding content
- Dynamic content controlled by designated administrators of
the site
- Flexible and extendible design to support future additions/enhancements
