Carley Corporation Wins Army National Guard Homeland Security Training Contract

Orlando, Florida, October 1, 2008 - Carley Corporation has been selected by the U.S. Army National Guard to develop interactive multi-media training products for its Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear High-Yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP). CERFPs are specialized teams who provide support to Homeland Security efforts in the event of a disaster through search and rescue, mass decontamination, and medical triage and treatment.

Carley will develop a series of certification courses utilizing scenario-based training to teach analysis, problem-solving and performance of technical skills in support of the National Guard's performance-based personnel development efforts.

Carley Corporation will provide courseware development, as well as program management and oversight of a team which includes Dynamics Research Corporation's high-stakes, high-stress training specialists; Engineering & Computer Simulations' 3D game and simulation specialists; Strategic Response Initiatives' Weapons of Mass Destruction and Civil Support specialists; and Concurrent Technologies Corporation's Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear assessment and response specialists.

The award was made under Carley's multi-award, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract with the Training Systems Division (TSD) at Orlando's Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIR). TSD is the principal Navy center for research, development, acquisition and evaluation of training systems, and provides inter-service coordination and training systems support for the Navy, Army and Air Force.
