Wins Contract with the United Kingdoms
Department for Work and Pensions

Carley Corporation
has been granted a contract with the United Kingdoms Department
for Work and Pensions (DWP) to assist them in converting their instructor-led
training to a distance learning/web based format. The Department
was formed on 8 June 2001 from parts of the former Department of
Social Security, parts of the former Department for Education and
Employment and the Employment Service. The Departments mission
is to provide the UKs people of working age, pensioners and
children with the advice and help they need to achieve financial
independence and make the most of life.
This is a 5-year
Framework Agreement type contract. Carley was one of 9 firms selected,
and was the only US firm. Carley was selected because of the depth
of experience of their staff, and their extensive experience in
producing custom technology-based training solutions.
