Center

Carley Corporation
is partnering with the Nashville Career Advancement Center (NCAC)
to design and develop career skills and life skills training for
residents of Nashville and Davidson Counties. Through training,
counseling, and employment services, NCAC provides vital resources
to current and potential workers in middle Tennessee. In order to
improve their training,, NCAC has awarded a 5-year contract to Carley
Corporation to provide custom-designed multimedia curriculum products
and consulting services to better meet the needs of disadvantaged
and displaced workers.
About NCAC
NCAC aims to prepare Nashville's workforce for this age of multi-careerism
by teaching participants how to navigate a career path, rather than
simply find a single job. The NCAC achieves its mission through
a top-notch, federally-funded One-Stop Career Center, one of only
four of its kind in the state. At the Career Center, prospective
workers can locate job opportunities, research careers, utilize
support services, and sharpen their job-related skills. The NCAC
also allocates Nashville's federal job training funds and offers
job training assessment and support services for Tennessee's Families
First program.
