NETPDTC Curriculum Development Services IDIQ

After fierce
competition amongst 24 competitors, Carley Corporation was one of
only 4 contractors awarded the Naval Education and Training Professional
Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC) Curriculum Development
Data Training Products and Services contract. This large-scale,
five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract
was competed on an unrestricted basis with Carley the only small
business receiving an award.
The training
programs/projects supported include, but are not limited to, the
Navy E-Learning Network, Schoolhouse Reengineering and Modernization,
Shipboard Training Enhancement Program (STEP), Naval Reserve Officer
Training Corps (NROTC) Training, Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training
Corps (NJROTC) Training, and the Chaplain Program Development and
Navy College Program. In addition to courseware development and
revision, various training support services may be required. The
training media include Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI),
Videotape Instruction and Print-Based Instructional Material. The
focus of the training and technology products developed under this
contract include browser-based, multi-delivery, web capable applications.
The products developed must have the capability to be delivered
via CD-ROM, DVD, Internet or Intranet. These products must also
have the ability to interface with the Navy E-Learning System and
Government designated Learning Management Systems. The new and revised
training materials must be SCORM conformant reusable content.
