Carley Corporation Wins First US Navy Delivery Order on NAVAIR Orlando’s Training Systems Contract (TSC) II Contract.

Orlando, Florida, March 26, 2004 - Carley Corporation, an Orlando-based human performance technology company, announced today their win of the first Delivery Order award on the US Navy’s Training Systems Contract (TSC) II Contract. NAVAIR Orlando, Training Systems Division, awarded Carley Corporation, a Woman-Owned Small Business, a multi-year contract to develop training materials for the US Navy’s Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, RI.

Under this task order, Carley Corporation will design, develop, implement, and evaluate 350 hours of computer-/web-based training on Navigation, Seamanship, and Shiphandling. Curriculum content will include knowledge and skills that support Personnel Qualification System (PQS) qualification for Officer of the Deck (Underway), completion of Officer of the Deck (OOD) Advanced Skills requirements, and training requirements for officers assigned as Navigator on U.S. Navy surface ships. The courseware will be compliant with SCORM 2004, ADA Section 508, and Navy Learning Content Object Model (NLCOM), and will operate in the Navy’s E-Learning Environment. In addition to the course modules, Carley will develop assessment tools and job sheets.
