About the
NCTC and DEO
The U.S. Department
of Interior, Fish and Wildlife's National Conservation Training
Center (NCTC) is a leader in providing training and education services
to the natural resource conservation community. The Division of
Education (DEO) provides programs and training that help bridge
the diverse, yet related, natural resources goals of many partners
in conservation-Federal, State and local government agencies, non-government
and private organizations, businesses, schools, and others. Education
and outreach fold the public into the process of resolving resources
management issues. The DEO provides approximately 25 training courses
and 20 programs annually to a variety of audiences. New courses
are periodically added to the Division's course schedule.
