Corporation Wins VANITS Contract

The U. S. Department
of Transportation (DOT) announced today that Carley Corporation
is being awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)
contract for E-Learning Services through the VANITS Special Project
Office (V-SPO). VANITS, which stands for Value Added "Niche" Technology
Services, provides a fast and effective way for government agencies
to acquire services and support for their Information Technology
Operations (ITO) from cutting-edge providers. Under this IDIQ contract,
Carley Corporation will supply and support technical, organizational,
or academic training courses for federal, state, and local government
agencies which are delivered via computer-based courseware or web-based
training. A full-spectrum of training courses and E-learning delivery
systems, including performance-oriented instruction, accredited
continuing education courses, internet/intranet access, and multimedia
courseware, are available.

VANITS
VANITS
is a program of delivering information technology services to a
wide audience for government customers and includes value-added
program management and contracts administration in meeting customer
requirements. VANITS is a labor-hours and time-and-materials-based
Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract designed to provide a range
of specialized, value-added IT services and infrastructure support
for a broad range of customer requirements. VANITS support contracts
are available to all federal, state, and local government agencies.
