The Triton Joint Venture (Triton JV), with Carley Corporation as the lead member, was awarded the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Delivery Order for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Virtual Ship Training System (VSTS). This multi-site training system will be installed in the LCS Training Facility located at Naval Base San Diego, CA and at Naval Station Mayport, FL. This contract, valued at up to $24M has a period of performance of four years.
This training system incorporates MLS SecureView technology, and includes virtualization of over 700 individual student stations in a complex hardware and software delivery environment. When logged into the training system, students can access the LCS Immersive Virtual Ship Environment (IVSE) where they can perform essentially any task in a full 3D simulation of the ship.
