Carley Corporation has been awarded a single-award, five-year Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for software engineering, analysis, content development, logistics, and life cycle support services for the Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) program.
AIM is a set of software tools designed to improve, streamline, and automate certain aspects of the development and maintenance of Navy training materials. These tools allow for more efficiency and responsiveness in the production and life cycle maintenance of training materials to Navy training activities and to other organizations external to the Navy. AIM also optimizes the process of instructional development and standardizes the training materials by automating the format and standards promulgated in various military and commercial training design/ development standards.
In addition to sustaining the core software functions of the AIM software tool suite, Carley is responsible for readying AIM to support the US Navy’s Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) initiative.
