Carley Corporation received two awards at the end of fiscal year 2015 which expanded its customer base. These include the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the Navy Voluntary Education (VOLED) Program.
NORAD
Carley was awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Task Order for training services to support the NORAD-USNORTHCOM Training and Exercises Directorate. NORAD and USNORTHCOM have complementary missions in support of homeland defense. NORAD conducts aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning in the defense of North America. USNORTHCOM partners to conduct Homeland Defense and Civil Support operations to defend, protect, and secure the United States and its interests.
Carley will perform work in any of the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) phases – analysis of training needs, development of new courseware, updating existing courseware, and maintaining the Learning Management System. Our training products and services will assist the Training and Exercises Directorate in achieving its mission of maintaining a trained and capable workforce. It is estimated that ten new courses will be developed annually based upon emergent customer requirements.
Navy Voluntary Education (VOLED) Program
Carley won a second Task Order under a GSA BPA to support the Navy VOLED Program. Navy VOLED provides educational services to Sailors and their family members to help them achieve their life-long education goals. More than 4000 educational institutions participate in the Navy VOLED Program.
Carley will support Navy VOLED by assisting them in building and maintaining a powerful digital/web presence so that geographically displaced Sailors and their families can receive the maximum benefit from the program. Carley’s efforts include developing leading edge digital videos, and providing consulting expertise on the best use of web/digital media to market Navy VOLED program components.
