March 21, 2022, Orlando Florida – Carley Corporation continues to expand its role supporting U.S. Navy training under an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) award from the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD). The ID/IQ has a value of over $200M.
As part of the Navy’s Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) initiative, Carley will implement emerging learning technologies and techniques to improve the transfer of training to the operational fleet. Carley will produce close to 16,000 hours of new training content that employs engaging instructional design and media and is accessible from the waterfront or operational units’ training delivery platforms. The curriculum will support a number of US Navy Ratings, including:
- Fire Controlman (FC)
- Fire Controlman (AEGIS) (FCA)
- Gunner’s Mate (GM)
- Interior Communications Electrician (IC)
- Machinist’s Mate – Submarine Auxiliary (MMA)
- Torpedoman’s Mate (TM)
- Construction Mechanic (CM)
- Aviation Ordnanceman (AO)
- Aviation Support Equipment Technician (AS)
Training formats will include instructor-facilitated interactive training and self-directed interactive training, performance support materials, and Structured-On-The-Job materials. Additionally, this contract provides for the development and delivery of Train-the-Trainer and Course Pilot events.
